In close partnership with White Oak Bayou Association, the City of
Houston and Harris County Flood Control, the Houston Parks Board
is beginning to focus on opportunities along White Oak Bayou to
expand the White Oak Greenway. We are currently working to complete
a missing link along White Oak Bayou from downtown to West
Antoine that will result in 13 miles of continuous greenway. Our specific
focus will entail making a connection between Stude Park and
T.C. Jester Park initially utilizing the existing MKT trail corridor. We
are also working on completing the trail connection between Antoine
Drive and the newly acquired “Inwood Forest” park area.
